Nature Wanderers popular Tiger Marathon photo safari is back. We began this program in 2011 for your tiger photography during the peak summers in India when tiger sightings are most prominent. Every year we choose two of the best tiger parks of India from the prevalent sighting dynamics and statistics and under the mentorship of our expert photography guide, we give you the opportunity to plan your summers by giving you the option for back to back photo tours in key tiger habitats of India. So essentially you can pick up a slot of your choice and book for one photo tour, or you can club 2 photo tours for one park, or club multiple tours for various parks, or simply book all 4 batches and extract the maximum from this summer. Our endeavor is to give you the maximum as a tiger lover and as a tiger photographer.
Tiger Marathon 2024 - Bandhavgarh National Park
Bandhavgarh is the tiger capital of India. And this summer the waterholes of Bandhavgarh would be teaming with tiger action. Nature Wanderers has more than 15 years of experience working in this pristine forest and this summer you can utilize all our previous knowledge and past history for being a part of this Tiger Marathon to boost your tiger portfolio in Bandhavgarh.

DAY BY DAY
DAY 1
Morning arrival at Jabalpur airport from where you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel for checking in (Approx. 3.5 hours’ drive). There will be a short briefing at lunch, after which you will be leaving for your first regular game drive in the afternoon. Once you are back in the evening, there will be a review and post processing session with your photo mentor.

DAY 2-3
Post your early morning regular safari, you will be back at the hotel in time for breakfast. You can relax till lunch, after which you will be leaving for your evening regular safari. Once you are back, there will be a review and post processing session with your photo mentor.

DAY 4
Early morning wakeup call and after a quick tea / coffee we are all set for an early morning safari. Breakfast would be at the lodge or we will do a safari field breakfast depending on the field schedule. Checkout post the morning safari. Departure to Jabalpur airport for return flights post 2 pm.
What are the COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedures for Nature Wanderer’s photo safaris?
At Nature Wanderers, the safety and security of our guests are of utmost importance. In light of the present global pandemic, please note the following:
- It is mandatory for all our guests to get vaccinated.
- Our entire team is fully vaccinated.
- Adhering to present government and forest department rules, it is mandatory for all guests to be wearing masks at all times, including during the safaris.
- Drivers and guides will be following all COVID-19 safety protocols.
- Safari vehicles will be sanitized before and after each game drive.
- Hand sanitizer and disinfectant will be available in each vehicle. However, guests are encouraged to carry their own as well.
- A COVID negative test will be mandatory for all guests.
- All guests will be sent a travel history form. We request you to share all previous details prior to a month of travel before the tour dates.
- Please install and regularly update the Aarogya Setu App to mark yourself safe.
- Only 4 photographers will be allowed in each vehicle.
- The tour is on a double sharing basis and twin beds will be provided. In case anyone wants a single accommodation, kindly write to us at info@naturewanderers.com with your request and we will share the costs for the same.
- In case you share any of your equipment with your fellow participants, make sure to sanitize before and after using the same.
- Temperature checks will be conducted on all guests every day.
- If anyone develops any symptoms during the tour, that person would not be allowed to carry on for the remaining safaris and would be requested to isolate themselves immediately.
- In case any guest develops any symptoms prior to the tour dates (including slight fever, cold, cough, loss of taste, or smell), we would request them to refrain from traveling and participating in the tour. Your seat would be considered canceled and there would be no refund for the same as per company and forest department policy.
- In case there are any last-minute travel restrictions placed by government bodies that may affect road/ air/ train travel, Nature Wanderers would not be responsible, and cancellations would be as per forest department guidelines.
What are the cancellations and refund policies of this tour?
Cancellation for an event will be considered via a written mail to info@naturewanderers.com. The date of the mail would be considered for the calculation of the cancellation fee.
Payment Terms:
- 30% of the registration fee would be the booking amount. This booking amount is non-refundable
- The remaining 70% of the registration fee should be paid 120 days prior to the tour date.
- 100% amount is refundable if the national park is closed because of COVID regulations during the tour period.
Refund policy:
- 50% of the remaining fee is refunded if cancellation is done 90 days prior to the event.
- No refund if cancellation is done under 0-89 days.

- Nature Wanderers would not be responsible for the cancellation of the tour due to any unforeseen conditions, such as delay/cancellation of flight, natural calamity, political unrest, etc.
