Co-Authored by Shatrunjay Pratap Singh and written by Shatabdi Chakrabarti, Leopards & Shepherds of Jawai is a story of coexistence between the secretive leopards and the shepherds in a remote area of Rajasthan in India. Using a network of DSLR camera traps and following a family of leopards, the team follows the journey of a mother with her 4 cubs as she raises the litter amidst human habitation with livestock as the only prey to survive on. The book also documents and showcases some unique leopard behavior and depicts the fact that wildlife is closely knit to India’s culture in these remote areas.
