Satpura national park is one of the key central Indian forests in India. Satpura means seven mountains. A terrain which is a mixture of fascinating deep valleys, sandstone peaks, rivulets, & waterfalls, Satpura is one of India's hidden wild jewels.

Satpura has a thriving population of leopards and sloth bears. The low tiger density makes leopards of this region bolder because of which this forest has become one of India's strongholds for leopard photography. The same is true about sloth bears. Some of the best sloth bear behavior and images have been produced from Satpura. So in case leopards and bears are your area of interest, Satpura is the place to be.

These forests are also home to the world’s smallest cat- the rusty spotted cat. We, at Nature Wanderers also conduct special expeditions in Satpura focusing on this unique specie.

DAY BY DAY

DAY 1

Pick up from Bhopal and transfer to the lodge. There will be a short briefing at lunch, after which you will be leaving for your first evening game drive. Once you are back in the evening, there will be a review and post-processing session with your photo mentor.

DAY 2-3

Early morning regular game drive. You will be back at the hotel in time for breakfast. You can relax till lunch, after which you will be leaving for your evening regular game drive. Once you are back, there will be a review and post-processing session with your photo mentor.

DAY 4

Early morning wake-up call and after a quick tea/coffee, we are all set for an early morning game drive. Breakfast would be at the resort or we will do a safari field breakfast depending on the field schedule. After breakfast check out and transfer back to Bhopal.

What will this photographic safari be about?

A Nature Wanderers photographic safari has been designed with the prime focus on your photography. Our photographic guide will be giving you hands on training and guidance on your wildlife photography depending on your skill levels - be it for amateurs, beginners and for participants who have been shooting for quite some time.

Nature Wanderers has spent nearly 2 decades in our field locations working with a team of guides, drivers and various other field professionals and together we have all learnt and grown in our field craft. During this photo safari you would be working with the best of field professionals as we value the time you have spared for coming for our program and we want you to derive maximum benefit out of it - be it in terms of your sightings or the overall field experience.

I am just a wildlife enthusiast. Can I participate in a Nature Wanderers program?

Ofcourse, a passion for outdoors, a passion for nature and wildlife is all we are looking for in a Nature Wanderers field program participant. Even if you do not possess photographic gears you are free to register for a program. And who knows during the program, the photography bug bites you and next time we see you armed with a camera to create wonderful memories in the wild!

What are the cancellations and refund policies of this tour?

Cancellation for an event will be considered via a written mail to info@naturewanderers.com. The date of the mail would be considered for the calculation of the cancellation fee.

Payment Terms:

  • 30% of the registration fee would be the booking amount. This booking amount is non-refundable.
  • The remaining 70% of the registration fee should be paid 120 days prior to the tour date.
  • 100% amount is refundable if the national park is closed because of COVID regulations during the tour period.

Refund policy:

  • 50% of the remaining fee is refunded if cancellation is done 90 days prior to the event.
  • No refund if cancellation is done under 0-89 days.

Please note:

  • All prices are excluding taxes. 5% GST would be applicable.

Exclusions:

  • Anything not included in inclusions.
  • Tips and gratuity.
  • Does not include any kind of alcoholic or soft beverage.
  • Does not include any midway meals (apart from meals mentioned in the itinerary), snacks or extra meals ordered.
  • Does not include Medical / Travel insurance.
  • Do not include those that are not mentioned above.
  • Nature Wanderers would not be responsible for the cancellation of the tour due to any unforeseen conditions, such as delay/cancellation of flight, natural calamity, political unrest, etc.

Refund policy:

  • 50% of the remaining fee is refunded if cancellation is done 90 days prior to the event.
  • No refund if cancellation is done under 0-89 days.
