Nature Wanderers popular Tiger Marathon photo safari is back. We began this program in 2011 for your tiger photography during the peak summers in India when tiger sightings are most prominent. Every year we choose best tiger parks of India from the prevalent sighting dynamics and statistics and under the mentorship of our expert photography guide, we give you the opportunity to plan your summers by giving you the option for back to back photo tours in key tiger habitats of India. So essentially you can pick up a slot of your choice and book for one photo tour, or you can club 2 photo tours. Our endeavor is to give you the maximum as a tiger lover and as a tiger photographer.

Tiger Marathon 2024 - Bandhavgarh National Park

Bandhavgarh is the tiger capital of India. And this summer the waterholes of Bandhavgarh would be teaming with tiger action. Nature Wanderers has more than 15 years of experience working in this pristine forest and this summer you can utilize all our previous knowledge and past history for being a part of this Tiger Marathon to boost your tiger portfolio in Bandhavgarh.

Target Species - Royal Bengal Tiger, leopard, Indian Gaur, Wild Dogs, Jackals, Spotted Deer, Barking Deer.

DAY BY DAY

DAY 1

Check-in hotel. There will be a short briefing at lunch, after which you will be leaving for your first regular game drive in the afternoon. Once you are back in the evening, there will be a review and post processing session with your photo mentor.

DAY 2-3

Post your early morning regular safari, you will be back at the hotel in time for breakfast. You can relax till lunch, after which you will be leaving for your evening regular safari. Once you are back, there will be a review and post processing session with your photo mentor.

DAY 4

Early morning wakeup call and after a quick tea / coffee we are all set for an early morning safari. Breakfast would be at the lodge or we will do a safari field breakfast depending on the field schedule. Checkout post the morning safari.

What will this photographic safari be about?

A Nature Wanderers photographic safari has been designed with the prime focus on your photography. Our photographic guide will be giving you hands on training and guidance on your wildlife photography depending on your skill levels - be it for amateurs, beginners and for participants who have been shooting for quite some time.

Nature Wanderers has spent nearly 2 decades in our field locations working with a team of guides, drivers and various other field professionals and together we have all learnt and grown in our field craft. During this photo safari you would be working with the best of field professionals as we value the time you have spared for coming for our program and we want you to derive maximum benefit out of it - be it in terms of your sightings or the overall field experience.

I am just a wildlife enthusiast. Can I participate in a Nature Wanderers program?

Ofcourse, a passion for outdoors, a passion for nature and wildlife is all we are looking for in a Nature Wanderers field program participant. Even if you do not possess photographic gears you are free to register for a program. And who knows during the program, the photography bug bites you and next time we see you armed with a camera to create wonderful memories in the wild!

Can Nature Wanderers help in renting equipment?

Nature Wanderers has relationships with some equipment rental partners. You can write to us and we can help you out.

What are the cancellations and refund policies of this tour?

Cancellation for an event will be considered via a written mail to info@naturewanderers.com. The date of the mail would be considered for the calculation of the cancellation fee.

Payment Terms:

  • 30% of the registration fee would be the booking amount. This booking amount is non-refundable
  • The remaining 70% of the registration fee should be paid 120 days prior to the tour date.
  • 100% amount is refundable if the national park is closed because of COVID regulations during the tour period.

Refund policy:

  • 50% of the remaining fee is refunded if cancellation is done 90 days prior to the event.
  • No refund if cancellation is done under 0-89 days.

Please note:

  • All prices are excluding taxes. 5% GST would be applicable.

Price per person : INR 59,100/- (5% GST to be applicable)

Exclusions:

  • Pick up and Drop.
  • Tips and gratuity.
  • Camera Fees (Have to be paid directly if applicable)
  • Does not include any kind of alcoholic or soft beverage.
  • Does not include any midway meals (apart from meals mentioned in the itinerary), snacks or extra meals ordered.
  • Does not include Medical / Travel insurance.
  • Do not include those that are not mentioned above.
  • Nature Wanderers would not be responsible for the cancellation of the tour due to any unforeseen conditions, such as delay/cancellation of flight, natural calamity, political unrest, etc.

Refund policy:

  • 50% of the remaining fee is refunded if cancellation is done 90 days prior to the event.
  • No refund if cancellation is done under 0-89 days.
