Johannesburg to Sabi Sands. Evening Game DriveArrive at Elephant Plains in time for lunch. After a briefing we depart for our first game drive. Overnight at the lodge.
Leopard photography in Sabi SandsEarly morning & late afternoon / evening game drives in open vehicles with all meals and snacks. In between breakfast and lunch there will be workshops and tutorial sessions in the conference room.Throughout the duration of the week in Sabi Sands with the help of our expert trackers, we would be literally searching what is known as the 'Home of the Leopard'. One of the phenomenal aspects of the Sabi Sands photo tour is that this forest will give you an almost guaranteed leopard sighting in every safari. As photographers we would be showcasing our creativity by using light and placement of the vehicle and that is where your photo guide and his experience would come into play. Transfer to Johannesburg and overnight at hotelMorning safari and post breakfast check out from the lodge and transfer to Johannesburg. With tons of leopard images, you definitely need a break to process the images and have a one-on-one session with your photo guide, so we have arranged a stay for you at a hotel in Johannesburg for just this purpose.

In a nutshell, the Sabi Sands photo safari would ensure that you create an outstanding portfolio of leopard images. Sabi Sands is a heaven for leopards. This photo safari is meant for you if your main area of interest is big cats and if you want to take one step further in the way you shoot those big cats in terms of innovative wildlife photography as we would be giving you specialized training in shooting wildlife after dark. You will know more about the usage of your camera and flash and shooting with external light sources. Creative photography will be a major area of focus during this tour.
Apart from your routine prime lenses there is a separate set of gears you would be needing for your night shooting. Yes, a flash would be needed along the transmitters and receivers. A detailed equipment advisory would be sent to you once you register for the program.
Since for most photographers this form of photography would be new, we understand that the first few days would be a learning experience for you. And once you pas that learning curve, that is when your field productivity would increase. We do not want you to go back with the feeling that ‘I just learnt this new photo trick and it’s time for me to leave!’

Cancellation for an event will be considered via a written mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. The date of the mail would be considered for calculation of the cancellation fee.
30% of the registration fee would be the booking amount. This booking amount is non-refundable
Remaining 70% of the registration fee should be paid 120 days prior to the tour date.
50% of the remaining fee refunded if cancellation is done 90 days prior to the event.
No refund if cancellation is done under 0-89 days.
